Sensation Station Summer Camp Info

Summer Fun Begins here!

Come and explore the Sensation Station! This summer camp will provide fun opportunities for children to enjoy and enhance their abilities by engaging in a variety of sensory experiences. Some of which are: fine and gross motor games and crafts, kick ball, soccer, relay races, challenging obstacle courses using Sensory Integration Principles, water fun including water guns, a commercial sized moon bounce, basic cooking skills, self help skills including cleaning up after meals and even enhancing their bike riding ability-all while forming peer relationships and social interactions!

General Information

The Sensation Station will be run by a licensed occupational therapist who specializes in working with children with sensory needs. The camp welcomes children of varying needs between the ages of 4-12.

Campers will be grouped according to skill level and ability rather than age so that we can focus and enhance the "I can" attitude.

Sensation Station will be open from 9:00am-3:00pm, Monday through Friday, for play throughout the summer. Please provide lunch for your child Monday-Thursday (microwave and stove/oven are readily available). I will provide lunch for your child on Fridays.

Each week of camp is open to a maximum of 6-8 children in order to ensure a low child to therapist ratio.Sign up for camp sessions is on a first come first serve basis. However, if fewer than 3 children sign up for a specific week, we will unfortunately have to close Sensation Station for that signup early to ensure your camp time!!!

Campers must be completely independent with their toileting skills.

Pick-up time is at 3:00. A late fee will be assessed if you are late in picking up your child.

  • $10 (1-15 minutes)

  • $20 (16-30 minutes)

  • $30 (31-45 minutes)

Late fees are due the next business day.

Tuition and Payment Information

The tuition is $625.00 for each week and includes the cost of camper supplies and lunch on Fridays.

Payment in full ($625.00 per week) is due no later than May 20th, 2022.

Although not mandatory, we encourage campers to attend at least 2 consecutive weeks in order to promote consistency with peer relationships and routine and allow the children to develop new skills to enhance their self-esteem. If fewer than 3 children sign up for a specific week, we will unfortunately have to close the Sensation Station for that week (with a full refund). If this occurs, we will notify you in advance so that you will have an opportunity to select another camp session.

We do not refund for missed days unless your child is sick and I receive a note from your child’s doctor.
